My brother and future sister in-law are getting married in the next few weeks and I made a personalized gift for them. I've been looking at the wooden letters at the craft store for awhile now and have been trying to figure out what I could do with them to make a unique wedding gift. If you look closely I put their wedding date in the letter.
First, I painted the letter and after it dried I used sandpaper to make the letter appear old. Next, I took a paddle bit and drilled a hole into the letter to inset the number. The rest of the letter is embellished with a few buttons, a bead, a wood circle, and metal wire. It was a fun project and I think I might have to make one for myself.
Looks great Nikki - I had no idea you were so crafty, love all your projects. :)
